About
The Clothes Exchange is a fundraiser that doesn't feel like one. An annual event, that attracts more than 500 women, The Clothes Exchange is now one of Burlington, Vermont's most anticipated and
fun fundraising events.
Through partnerships with dozens of retailers and apparel manufacturers
the Clothes Exchange collects and sells thousands of new garments, in addition to pre-loved, high quality women's and children's (size new born - 6) clothing and accessories.
Each year the Burlington Clothes Exchange selects a different nonprofit to receive event proceeds; in 2010 the event raised $70,000 for King Street Center.

History
The Clothes Exchange was born in 2001, when a group of 15 fashion conscious, community minded women got together in Burlington, Vermont to swap the clothes they once loved, but rarely ever wore.
