Each year The Clothes Exchange of Bergen County selects a new nonprofit organization to be the beneficiary of our Spring event.

All beneficiaries must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that work to encourage and promote women's self-sufficiency, human rights, health and well-being.

We do not fund:

• Individuals
• Organizations that do not have a women’s focus.
• Organizations whose sole activities are income-generation and/or charity.
• Organizations based or working primarily outside of their communities.
  
• Government entities, political parties, religous (non-secular) organizations, or partisan causes, including election campaigns.

If your organization is interested in applying to be a beneficiary, please email a one page letter of interest to info-Burlington@theclothesexchange.org. In the letter, please include:

• An overview of your organization's mission
• A description of your need
• A plan for what you'd do with the money raised
• Information that tells us why you think your organization would be a good match for The Clothes Exchange

Letters of inquiry must be received by November 1.
Those selected to apply will be notified by December 15.
