Expectations for Event Volunteers
Volunteer Training and Orientation
All event volunteers are expected to attend one of these Volunteer Trainings at the DoubleTree Hotel:
May 5th at 7 pm
May 16th at 11 am

Volunteer Dress
Event volunteers should wear jeans, a Clothes Exchange t-shirt and comfortable shoes. T-shirts are provided at the volunteer training.
Volunteering & Shopping
Event volunteers are expected to work the entire event and to refrain from shopping during their volunteer shift.
Volunteers who want to shop and volunteer at the event must purchase a Shop First ($100 per ticket) and begin their volunteer shift at 6:30 pm, or as soon as they are done shopping. Or you can volunteer on a set-up or clean-up shift and shop at the main event.

Volunteer Shifts:
Set-Up Daytime Shift - May 19th, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (volunteers are asked to work a least 3-hour shifts)
Help with tagging and pricing
Set-Up Evening Shift - May 19th, 5:30 - 9pm
(volunteers are asked to work a least 3-hour shifts)
Help with room set-up and merchandising
Event Shift 1- 4:45 - 9:00 pm (or whenever the last shopper shops)
Event Shift 2 - 6:30 - 9 pm (or whenever the last shopper shops) (Shift 2 is only an option for those who purchase a Shop First ticket.)
Clean-Up Crew & Clothes Distribution Crew - 8:30 pm - around 11 pm
When you arrive, head to the Volunteer Check-in area and check in with our Volunteer Coordinators. Please do not bring valuables with you.
