Inspired by the hard work and dedication of their sister, Leslie, the founder of the The Clothes Exchange, LLC, Lisa Halperin and Tracy Mazie decided to follow her lead and make a difference in their own community. And so, The Clothes Exchange of Bergen County, NJ was born. 

Thinking that many friends were too busy with work and childcare, Lisa and Tracy hesitantly asked close friends and family to assist in the planning of the event.  The response was overwhelming.  Everyone they approached for help signed on and The Bergen County Leadership Team was born. 

First on their agenda was finding a beneficiary and they were thrilled to learn about Oasis - A Haven for Women and Children, the Paterson based organization they selected as their beneficiary.

Since then the Bergen County team has been hard at work planning their 1st event.
