Why Volunteer?

You can look good, have fun and change lives, all at the same time.

Whether 20 or 200 people show up to shop at a Clothes Exchange event, a team of super sharp, hardworking volunteers is needed to pull it all together.

Because The Clothes Exchange is run entirely by volunteers, there are many ways to be involved, from joining one of the nine pre-event planning committees to volunteering at the event. Committees form and planning generally kicks-off four months prior to the event.

Event Volunteers

We count on a team of volunteers to host the event and make it all look effortless to our guests. Joining one of the “day of event teams” is a great way to learn about The Clothes Exchange and great experience for those thinking about joining a pre-event planning committee in the future. We count on volunteers to greet guests, staff the dressing room, restock merchandise, act as personal shoppers / stylists, manage traffic, and work the check-out line. It’s really a lot of fun!
